while watching PCU on monday, there were many logical fallacies going on in the movie. The movie put an image that college is just one big ball game, meaning that all you did was play and party. And it is sad but before coming to college that is what i thought. I thought I was going to be parting everyday and all day. So one logical fallacy that they showed was when the preppy guy first came to college, and nobody liked him because he was caught at the wrong place at the wrong time. now one thing that is true where ever you go, is peer pressure. Peer pressure is real prevalent today. but i think it will always be prevalent.

In to the wild

the first question that was brought up said, "Is McCandless’s story so sensational/controversial because it doesn’t match the stereotype we usually see for college students?" i think McCandless had a different out look on life, all he did was help people. he really didnt understand why people hated him, because he dreamed of peace, and helping people and things of that sort. many college students went to parties and drunk beer and, had fun and enjoyed life by doing concenquential things. most college students trive on having fun and not caring about anything, on the other hand McCandless loved to help people, and thrived ofd seeing someone else make it.
